BAOBAB - TREE OF LIFE

The baobab is a prehistoric tree which predates both mankind and the splitting of the continents over 200 million years ago. It is a symbol of life and positivity. Tribal elders gather under this ancient tree to get guidance from spirits past.

The chalk like fruit contains 50 times more Vitamin C than an orange. In addition if one drinks the water the seeds have been soaked in they won't be eaten by a crocodile.

BUFFALO THORN HONEY

Featuring in traditional medicine, faith and magic, this tree has inspired many wonderful folktales. Traditionally, the Zulu people planted a Buffalo Thorn on the grave of a deceased Chief.

A branch is used to retrieve the spirit of a deceased person from the place of death and bring to its final resting place. It is believed that the trees are immune to lightning, and any person sheltering underneath it will not be harmed

GRAINS OF PARADISE

Grains of paradise is an aromatic spice that looks like peppercorns with origins in West Africa and notes of cardamom, coriander, citrus, ginger, nutmeg, and juniper

It is popularly used as herbal remedy against a wide range of ailments in folkloric medicine in different parts of the world. Several experimental proofs have shown that alligator pepper may exert antioxidant and antibacterial effects.
